A mid 20th century 9ct gold and silver ruby and diamond crescent brooch. Comprising seven graduated oval-shape rubies, with old-cut diamond intervals. Length 2.5cms. Weight 3.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the brooch, in keeping with overall wear. The silver setting is significantly tarnished. The rubies are pinkish red in colour, one is significantly chipped, some have an uneven saturation of colour. There is abrasion to the facet edges visible with magnification. The diamonds appear tinted brown, with dark inclusions visible with magnification, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
