Lot Description
A late 19th century 9ct gold diamond and enamel bracelet. The centre designed as an oval-shape blue enamel locket with rose-cut diamond abstract cross motif, to the expanding textured bar bracelet. Length 15cms. Weight 29.8gms. With associated case.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There bracelet appears to have been put together from late 19th century components. The strap added to the central locket at a later date. The centre has possibly been re enamelled, there are a few visible scratches and small chips. The rose cut diamonds are in good condition, the claws may need to be secured. There is an area of discolouration to the surround, the inset to the locket does not appear original and has possibly been replaced. There is discolouration to the inside of the lid. The bracelet is in good condition, there are slight scratches in places. The clasp is a little loose and may need to be secured. Clasp stamped 9c. The box fits quite well however is not original to the bracelet, there are areas of dirt wear and damage to the inside of the box and scuffs scratches and damage to the outer leather case.
