A late 19th century gold and silver split pearl and paste fly brooch. The pear-shape red paste and split pearl body, with split pearl wings and red paste circular cabochon eyes, to the plain bar. With Russian marks. Length 4.6cms. Weight 3.7gms. With associated case.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear and age of piece. The split pearls are in fair condition, showing some surface abrasion and blemishes, one split pearl deficient. Fairly well matched, with cream to grey overtones. The red paste body and eyes show surface abrasion to facet edges, with small nibbles to corners. Russian marks to back of wing. Marked 56. With replacement pin
