Lot Description

A mid 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The circular-shape sapphire, to the old-cut diamond trefoil sides and scrolling gallery. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Weight 2.8gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band is a possible replacement, with slight discolouration to both sides, near the head of the ring. The band has wear and thinning, stamped 18ct. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphire is a medium blue hue with some large feathers to one side of the stone. Ring size K.
