A mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum ruby and diamond dress ring. The two oval-shape rubies, to the brilliant-cut diamond cross and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct, I-J colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Weight 3.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the rubies, easily visible with the unaided eye, the rubies vary in size and slightly in colour. There are profuse scattered black inclusions to the larger diamonds easily visible with the unaided eye. The settings would benefit from a clear. Inner band stamped 18ct pt.
