Lot Description
A mid 20th century continental 18ct gold ruby and diamond bangle. Comprising two oval-shape ruby and rose-cut diamond clusters, to the old-cut diamond asymmetric sides and plain half-bangle. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 2cts, H-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Inner diameter 5.5cms. Weight 20.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the bangle in keeping with overall wear. The rubies are well matched, there are some hazy patches and fractures visible with magnification, they are a pinkish red with a moderate saturation of colour. The rose-cut diamonds are bright, there are small chips to a couple visible with magnification. There are chips to some of the old-cut diamonds visible with magnification. Some of the settings may need to be secured. The safety chain is deficient and the clasp may need to be secured.
