An early 20th century diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the old-cut diamond quatrefoil, with rose-cut diamond spacers, to the old-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 2.90cts, I-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length 3.1cms. Weight 6gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Estimated dimensions of the two principal diamonds within quatrefoil cluster: 5.3 by 5.3 by 3.3mm and 5.1 by 5.1 by 3mm. Estimated I-J and J-K colour, SI1-SI2 clarity of the diamonds within the quatrefoil cluster. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Colour graded within the limitations of the mount, potentially higher.
