An amethyst and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the rectangular-shape amethyst collet within a brilliant-cut diamond intertwined line surround. Estimated total diamond weight 3cts, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Length 5.4cms. Weight 21.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the setting in keeping with overall wear. Dimensions of amethyst 15.1 by 14.2 by 8.25mms. The back finish to the brooch is uneven and un polished with the pavillion of the diamonds feeling sharp and protruding from the back. The diamonds are bright and lively. The amethyst is in good condition with a strong saturation of colour. The back pin and catch is secure. The back pin is not original to the piece and is stamped 18ct.
