A late 19th century gold amethyst and split pearl brooch. The marquise-cut amethyst, within a split pearl surround. Length 5.5cms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The amethyst is in good condition with minor abrasions and small, eye visible inclusions. The split pearls are moderately well matched, some appearing slightly smaller, some with noticeably darker colour, possible replacements. Weight 21gms.
