Lot Description

A silver key wind open face pocket watch signed J. W. Benson, the white dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, round case with engine turned decoration and a cartouche with monogram engraved to the rear, hallmarked London 1889, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement and bi-metal compensation balance. Case diameter 50mm.

J.W. Benson pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, few tiny marks and pieces of debris to the dial, tiny marks and areas of rusting to the hands, glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches, rubbing to the milled band and engine turned decoration.
