A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face fob watch by John Vale, the gilt dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, floral and foliate design to the centre, round case with engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1859, personal inscription to dust cover, fitted with a signed full plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 41mm. Total weight 58gms.
