Lot Description

A silver keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, plain round case, hallmarked Chester 1889, fitted with an unsigned three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 52mm.

A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, tarnishing to movement, tiny marks to the dial, hands have a few small areas of discolouration, glass is lightly scratched, may polish out, case has areas of discolouration, would benefit from a clean, medium scratches, dents to the case back, tiny dints and small scuffs, a few small areas of light pitting, score marks on edge of case, probably caused when it was opened, crown shows signs of rubbing and discolouration.
