Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, round case with milled band, engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1893, fitted with an unsigned full plate movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 53mm.

A silver pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently functioning, the dial appears to be cracked in few places to the edges, there are scratches and marks visible throughout, may also benefit from a clean as some debris is noticeable to dial, main and the subsidiary dial have small discolourations to the centre, hands are discoloured and bent, glass is scratched, case is scratched to the whole surface as a result of general wear, case back has tiny stains in few places, case has noticeable wear to the engine turned design of case back, bow and pendant are scratched, bow is loose.
