A majolica cheese dish and cover. The lattice-moulded cover decorated in relief with flowers on a drip-glazed blue ground, the stand raised on three supports, 8.5" diameter x 11.75" high, (22cm x 30cm).

Condition Report
Stand is about 2cm wider than cover - might have expected a tighter fit. Some old flaking/chipping to edge of cover, crudely disguised. The moulding is also different but the flowers are a good match. The undersides of the supports exhibit chipping. Fine overall crazing.
