Two tooth picks and a whistle. The toothpicks of propelling design, the first late Victorian in 9ct gold with foliage-engraved barrel, Birmingham, 1899, W.V. & S. (William Vale & Sons), 2", (5cm) long, 2.8gms all-in; the second white metal, stamped "S. MORDAN & CO" to the fluted barrel, same length, 3.7gms; the whistle foliage-engraved, hallmarked Birmingham, 1901, CS & FS (Cornelius Desormeux Sanders & Francis Shepherd), 1", (2.5cm), 2.4gms, (3).
