A Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono. Modelled as a labourer and his three children, one on his shoulders holding a fruiting bough in one hand and his father's (damaged) coolie hat in the other, the other two children at his feet, one grasping the bough, the other holding digging tools and a basket, apparently unsigned, 6.5", (16.5cm) high.
