Pierre Jules Mene (1810 - 1879). A19th century gilt bronze animalier group depicting a rearing horse being attacked by a wolf, the wolf with his jaws locked around the horses throat, the whole upon an oval naturalistic modelled base with impressed name P J Mene, 6.25" (16cm) tall, 5.5" (14cm) wide
