A pair of 19th century Samson porcelain figures modelled as Jupiter and Io, he modelled with beard and crown, red mantle and pink perizonium, standing against a sea serpent on a shell encrusted leafy base, pseudo gold anchor Chelsea 188/5, she with green mantle and floral patterned dress standing against a mythical beast with bulls torso and fish tail on base, with matching number. 13" (33cm) x 11.75" (30cm) (af), together with a set of four Paris porcelain figures early 19th century, comprising female figures emblematic of music, geometry, astronomy, dance, poetry or history, each with typical attributes standing on a naturalistic scroll-edged base, black crossed arrows mark (Chaffers P. 627) to base of each. 8.5" to 9" (22cm to 23cm), (af)
