William John Cartwright, two oil paintings on canvas: "Rustic Bridge, Tedstone, Herefordshire", a figure on the bridge with cattle watering beside, signed lower left, entitled, signed and dated 1899 verso, 13.5" x 17.5" (34cm x 44.5cm) in gilt slip frame; and "Cottage Scene, Marston Green", figures at a thatched cottage gate, same date and inscribed similarly, 11.75" x 17.5" (29cm x 44.5cm) framed as above, together with an oil on canvas by F White dated 1914 and a print

Condition Report
1 - Paint cracking to tree. Some frame gilt on canvase. Frame depleted and probably a slip from a larger frame, unglazed.
2 - Two patches verso. Repaired holes notiable to front.
3 - Paint thin to sky. Minor frame losses.
4 - Brown staining. Rubbing to frame gilt.
