Star Wars film memorabilia: "Concept - Cockpit of Pirate Ship", an 'original production used blueprint concept artwork by design artist Joe Johnston', captioned lower right, with plaque bearing Star Wars logo annotated as above, image size 10.75" x 15.75", (27.5cm x 40cm), framed and glazed, with label of "The Prop Store of London" verso.
Joseph Eggleston ('Joe') Johnston III, (b.1950) begin his career working for George Lucas as a concept artist on Star Wars (1977), Battlestar Galactica and The Empire Strikes Back. He also worked on Raiders of the Lost Ark and Willow before making his directorial debut with Honey I shrunk the Kids (1989). His directorial credits since include Jumanji, Jurassic Park III, Hidalgo, and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011).
