A late 19th century French inlaid portico clock. Raingo Freres, Paris, having a 3.5" silvered Roman dial, the two-train movement, stamped RAINGO FRERES Paris, outside countwheel-striking on a bell, the case with humped inlaid surmount and frieze over four barley-sugar twist columns with cast capitals flanking cast dial surround on inlaid platform, matching base and block feet, 17.5", (44.5cm) high, on similar base with turned feet, sold with Ellicot-type bimetallic pendulum, plus winder

Condition Report
Staining to dial silvering. Movement appears sound but not tested. Pendulum probably associated - normally cast with a sunburst.
Case - surmount cracked and warped. Some scratches to platform. Base probably associated, some old worm, veneer losses, no glass dome.
