Lot Description
A 20th century kingwood and walnut pedestal cabinet in the Louis XVI taste, the break-arched waisted top inset with a timepiece in cast gilt surround, on a tapering pedestal with cast corner mounts flanking a medallion-centred door enclosing a mirror-backed interior with two glass shelves, raised on cabriole legs with gilt sabots on a canted, concave-sided plinth base, 77" (196cm) high.

Condition Report
Mount gilding quite brown and drab, casting of a modest quality. Some minor blistering and scuffing to varnish. A scratch to right side. Door edges rather scuffed, two small scratches to lower panel.
