A 20th century figured walnut cased longcase clock, having a 12" (30.5cm) square dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing foliate scrollwork and makers name 'Samson BLANDFORD FORUM' within rococo spandrels, the 18th century knopped four pillar movement countwheel striking on a bell, the case with shaped pediment over turned columns, plain trunk door and plain base with plinth, 68" (173cm) high, sold with weight and pendulum

Condition Report
Dial - has wax filled numerals but Arabic minutes look late in date. Plate is very thin. Movement is earlier and appears sound. Much packing/re-building to cheeks. Case has machine cut veneers but is otherwise in decent order
