A George II oak corner chair. Circa 1750, with 'smoker's bow' arm over twin vase splats flanked by gun-barrel supports, the tapestry-covered drop-in seat on a central cabriole front leg and three club legs, 27.5" across arms x 32.5" high, (70cm x 82.5cm).

Small loss where surmount meets arm at one side. Minor split to front of seat rail, otherwise structurally sound and with decent patina.
