Lot Description

A good Victorian Aesthetic period brass mounted oak hall seat with Design Registration lozenge, attributed to James Schoolbred & Co., having a chamfered toprail with brass spindle balustrade, between reed moulded swept open arms embraced by shell motifs, the disc ends with central fan reeded brass mount flaking a solid seat with chamfered edge and reeded low backrail, stamped twice with Design Registration lozenge verso, printed paper label beneath seat, on reeded end supports and moulded plain stretchers, 22" x 12.5" x 24.5" high (56cm x 32cm x 62cm)
