Condition Report
General old cracking and splitting to top commensurate with age and use. Some cracks between the joints appear to be filled with slivers of similar timber. Worm scarring to ash banding. Some incised marks to underside of top from turning of timber or from general wear. General cracks and shrinkage to undershelf planks. Some additional support blocks added later and these are now removed. Overall extremely rustic but structurally sound and very unusual, with good patination throughout.
