A 1940's Scottish silver bachelor teapot of inverted pear form, dwarf spout and ebonised knop and handle. Hallmarked William M Duncan Glasgow 1948. Maximum height measuring 4 1/4 inches (11 cm), weight 10.9 ozt (339 grams).

Condition Report
The teapot appears in good overall condition displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are minor dints and pitts. A fracture to the side of the ebonised knop and to the end of the handle. Slight dint to the end of the spout. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
