Art Nouveau silver bonbon dish of narrow oval form, florally embossed amongst whiplash lines and scrolls. Hallmarked Henry Matthews Birmingham 1887. Length measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm), weight 2.5 ozt (79 grams).

The dish displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Remnants of polish are visible and there are a few deeper scratches and minor surface nicks/dints to some areas, mainly visible to the plain centre and underside.  The hallmarks to the underside are clear and legible.
