Lot Description
A cased late Victorian silver napkin ring designed as a foliate band with personal inscription and crimped edge, hallmarked Henry Pope, Birmingham 1898. Together with a pair of twentieth century Italian grape scissors, the handles realistically modelled as vines, stamped 800, Firenze and the silversmith's number 661, length measuring 4 inches (10 cm). Gross silver weight 1.5 ozt (47.9 grams). (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Grape scissors stamped 800. The napkin ring maker's mark is overstruck and rubbed. Personal engraving reads J.D.M, 1908. The case may not be original.
