Lot Description
1920's silver and tortoiseshell mounted dressing table items, comprising a pair of hair brushes and an oval trinket box, hallmarked Asprey & Co Ltd., London 1926, a small circular jewellery box, the tortoiseshell hinged cover with mirror to reverse, hallmarked Sanders & Mackenzie, Birmingham 1923, a pair of silver lidded glass scent bottles, hallmarked Birmingham 1925, and a further glass vanity jar with silver and tortoiseshell lid hallmarked London 1920; together with a silver plated and faux tortoiseshell rectangular tray of shaped outline. All contained within a mahogany veneered case.

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mahogany veneered case is associated to all pieces and displays some loss to the mother of pearl shield. One of the tops to the smaller pair of glass bottles is heavily dented also the tortoise shell is cracked/damaged. The silver plating to the tray is worn and would require re-finishing. Further minor dints visible to some pieces. Small chips to glass. The hallmarks are a little worn in areas but generally legible.
