Lot Description

A pair of Edwardian silver tazza, each with shallow bowl, shaped edge, twin loop handles and reed and ribbon borders. Hallmarked Henry Hobson & Sons Birmingham 1907/9, registation number 523036. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), gross weight 11 ozt (343 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Repair to one where the stem meets the bowl, also visible to the interior of the bowl, also a possible repair to the join of the handles and a dent to the foot of the base. Both wobble slightly. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's marks and registered numbers partially rubbed.
