Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian silver open salts of oval form, scroll border and raised above four shell mounted paw feet, hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd London 1899. Together with a late Victorian silver helmet cream jug, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes Chester 1898, a 1960's silver ashtray and a continental naturalistic souvenir teaspoon for Armentières. Gross weight 8 ozt (251 grams). (4).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cream jug has a number of repairs to the spout and handle. The ashtray has a camel crest. The hallmarks to the cream jug are distorted, all other hallmarks are clear and legible. The teaspoon is unhallmarked.
