Lot Description
An Indian white metal teapot, of tapering form, raised on four curved feet, with straight spout and looped handle, to the flared rim and domed lid, with scrolling foliate embossed decoration throughout, with matching cream jug. Height of teapot 7 inches (17.8 cm).Gross weight 21.97 ozt (683.4 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The legs are slightly bent to the teapot and jug, they do not sit quite straight. The teapot has a soft solder repair near the handle. The spout has been pushed in with a small crack to the top of the spout where it joins with the body and soft solder repair to the base. The lid does not fit securely, with a crude replacement pin to the hinge. Minor further dents to the body. The jug has a shallow but noticeable dents.
