Lot Description

A pair of open salts of oval fluted form with twin handles, hallmarked John Henry Wynn Birmingham 1909. Together with a late Victorian silver embossed open salt, a shaped early twentieth century silver example and a pair of white metal embossed Asian open salts of cauldron form. Gross weight 4.8 ozt (151 grams). (4).

The lot appears in a varied state all displaying general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing and discolouration to some parts. Foot snapped off the shaped open salt. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. No marks present to the Asian white metal open salts.
