A George II silver marrow scoop of plain form, the hallmarks probably Thomas Whipham & William Williams London 1759. Together with a George IV silver travelling knife and fork hallmarked Joseph Taylor Birmingham 1824, AF. (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A deeper scratch visible to the bowl of the marrow scoop, the maker’s mark and date letter of the hallmarks particularly rubbed. The travelling knife and fork are in need of attention, the fork has been snapped at the stem, the knife blade displays a central crease, the blade has moved away from the handle, the only full hallmarks are positioned to the blade, maker’s mark only to the handles and fork.
