Condition Report
All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing is visible, especially to the blades and fork prongs of the Victorian ivory handled flatware, and they would all benefit from a clean and polish. Some of the fork prongs are quite worn and bent and there is more visible wear to the rounded ends and pointed tips of the knife blades. The fish knives have lost their sharpness. Some cracks to ivory handles and some loss of detail to the decoration on the handles. The hallmarks are clear and legible. he cake forks are also quite tarnished, especially the handles, and there are numerous deeper scratches, nicks and marks. Hallmarks are quite worn but still legible. Several larger and deeper scratches and contact marks to tray.
