Lot 443

Lot Description

1930's cased set of six lobster picks, each of plain slightly tapering form with rounded handle.  Hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson), Sheffield 1933, 1937 and 1938.  Length measures 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The picks display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Heavy tarnishing is visible and they would benefit from a clean and polish.  Various deeper scratches and small nicks in the metal are visible.  The tips of the picks have faired quite well and still appear quite sharp to the touch.  Some rubbing to hallmarks but still mainly legible.
