Lot Description

A late Victorian silver hip flask of oblong form, the plain body engraved with a crest and monogram, domed hinged lid with locking mechanism. Hallmarked W & G Neal London 1896. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 6 ozt (186 grams).

The hip flask displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Numerous dents to the body. Missing cork from the lid. The hallmarks and engravings appear noticeably rubbed.
