A selection of silver and silver plate, to include an Edwardian silver globe pedestal pincushion hallmarked Birmingham 1908, a WMF mid twentieth century colourless plastic box with silver plated lid, two glass scent bottles, a glass dressing table jar with filled silver lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1975 and a silver pepperette, hallmarked Birmingham 1940. Condition Report
The lot appears in a varied state displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The pincushion has some small dents, significantly tarnished, makers mark worn. The WMF box has wear to the lid with slight discolouration and general scratches. The glass has small nicks and general abrasion. The jar lid is hallmarked W I Broadway & Co, Birmingham 1975. The art deco pepperette has small dents. Makers mark overstuck. Hallmarked William Suckling Ltd, Birmingham 1940. One of the glass scent bottles has a sterling lid which is in very poor condition. The hallmarks where present are generally clear and legible.
