Condition Report
The chatelaine displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches and nicks visible to some areas. However, the overall condition appears fairly good. The tape part of the tape measure displays some general damage, such as frays and tears. The fabric part of the pin cushion is quite worn and the silver mount is lifting slightly. The blades of the scissors display general rust. The rims on the thimble case and the lid are a little misshapen so that it does not close correctly, and there is also some damage to the hinges. The silver thimble is an associated one. There is no needle in the needle case. The hallmarks are mainly clear and legible.
