A base metal novelty pepperette, modelled as an owl with realistic feather detail, the head formed as the screw on lid with bright red and black inset glass eyes. Height measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm).

Condition Report
The owl displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. It is a very dark base metal and would probably benefit from a clean and polish. Some loss of detail to the feather decoration. Lid screws on tightly. The owl cannot stand upright, it has either been worn down on the underside or was possibly originally attached to a branch or something similar.
