Condition Report
Both cases display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. More wear to edges and corners. Numerous deeper scratches are visible, especially to the Second World War case, and various minor nicks. Hinges and clasps in good working order. The hallmarks on the 1930's case are clear and legible. There is also a personal dedication inscription to the interior. The other case has struck marks to interior but these are quite rubbed and therefore difficult to read. The front of case reads 'Presented to Lieut. K.J. Richards by The Regular Officers of the Regiment in memory of his war service with them 1939-45' There is list of names to reverse.
