Lot Description

A late Victorian Scottish silver vase of tapered form, wrythen fluting, vacant shield cartouche and raised on a circular scroll pierced foot with scalloped edge. Hallmarked Hamilton & Inches Edinburgh 1900, registration number 334765. Height measuring 7 inches (17.5 cm), weight 5.4 ozt (169 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy discolouration to the interior. Shallow dents towards the bottom of the body. Dents also to the base with the piece not sitting straight and rocking when on a flat surface. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
