Lot Description
Continental gold coloured box of rectangular form with curved corners, the hinged lid with an outer border of cultured pearls and an inset agate panel decorated with a multi gem centre set with sapphires, rubies and other paste stones, engraved motifs to the sides of the box and the base. Measuring 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm) by 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm).

Condition Report
The box displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Some deeper scratches, nicks and contact marks are visible to some areas. There is some damage and wear to the pearls, one is missing and the outer layer of another is missing. There is also some surface damage to the stones and a couple are missing. The multi gem set mount is also a little loose. There are no hallmarks.
