A nineteenth century Russian silver snuff box with niello decoration and city scene to the hinged lid, AF. Russian hallmarks rubbed, possibly Moscow, 18??, the standard mark of 84 and the maker's mark Ae. Length measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 3.8 ozt (118 grams).

Condition Report
The snuff box appears in poor condition with significant wear to the niello decoration, splits to the constructions seams, dents a chip also visible to the silver on the bottom rim. Missing lip and clasp. Solder and possible repair to the inner lid. Russian hallmarks rubbed.
