An early twentieth century silver pebble snuff box with engine turned decoration and applied circular initial engraved cartouche, hallmarked Jay, Richard Attenborough Co Ltd Chester 1916. Together with an early twentieth century silver pill box of plain elongated hexagonal form, hallmarked Birmingham 1911 and a 1920’s vanity pot of circular form, engine turned lid and mirror to the inner lid, hallmarked Boots Pure Drug Company Birmingham 1921. Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Dents to the snuff box, wear to the engine turned decoration, the press release lid does not function or remain closed. The lid to the pill box stretches over the body onto the body also a number of dints visible. The hallmarks vary in condition but generally clear and legible.
