Early twentieth century 9ct gold vesta case, of slightly curved oblong form with engraved monogram to the front.  Hallmarked Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1921.  Measuring 55 mm by 45 mm, gross weight 31.3 grams.

The case displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Some deeper scratches and nicks are visible and a couple of minor surface dints/bumps.  Hinged cover is in good working order.  Contact marks to inner flange.  The hallmarks are clear and legible.
