Lot Description

Edwardian silver small circular bowl decorated with a band of foliate scrolls above a lobed lower section, hallmarked William Devenport, Birmingham 1903;  together with a small pedestal bowl of plain circular form, hallmarked London 1927, three other small bowls, one stamped 'sterling silver', the other two not marked, and a silver mounted hand mirror with heavily embossed floral and foliate decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1911.  Hallmarked silver weight 3.52 ozt (109.4 grams). All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Heavier tarnishing to some areas and some deeper scratches and nicks.  Some small dints and bumps are visible, mainly to the plain pedestal bowl, which has a large knock to the foot rim and knocks to the main rim.  The embossed silver mount to the mirror also displays some large dints and some small holes in the decoration.  Hallmarks when present are mainly legible.
