Lot Description

A pair of 1930's silver and enamel candlesticks, the tapering stems with pink guilloché enamel, raised on spread square footed bases and circular domed capitals, filled.  Hallmarked Aaron Lufkin Dennison Birmingham 1931. Height measuring 7 inches (18 cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Where the stem meets the capital the silver appears twisted with a heavy soft solder repair to one, the capitals also not quite sitting straight. One chip to the enamel other wise in good overall condition. Numerous minor dints and bumps to the bases. The hallmarks appear partly rubbed but legible.
