Lot Description

An 18ct gold jade and diamond brooch. The jadeite rectangular-shape panel carved with gourd design, to the brilliant-cut diamond stepped sides and openwork gallery. Jadeite panel AF. Hallmarks for London, 1990. Length 5.6cms. Weight 9.2cms.

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The jadeite panel has been cracked in half and repaired. Jadeite untested for natural colour origin. The jadeite has a swirly mottled green hue. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.24ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Sponsor mark for Crop & Farr. Jade untested for natural colour origin.
